The Foundation no longer requires the submission of a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) as part of the Core Grant Program application process. Instead, the submission of a single application through our online grant management system is required for funding consideration through the Core Grant Program.
New applicants and returning applicants who have not received a grant in the past are asked to contact the Foundation at Mferst@GenuardiFamilyFoundation.org to discuss this grant opportunity prior to starting the application.
Our 2025 Core Grant Cycle Dates are as follows:
Date | Process |
---|---|
February 3, 2025 | Application submission period begins. |
March 14, 2025 | Applications are due by 3:00 PM EST. |

If this is your first time applying for a grant from the Genuardi Family Foundation, please check to see if your organization has an existing account before creating a new one. If you need assistance in creating your organization’s online account or navigating the online application process, please see the tutorials on our Online Application Support page.
At any time during the year, you may access your grant history, edit your organization’s profile, or submit grant reports for previously received grants.
General information about the Foundation’s Core Grant Program:
The application submission deadline is firm. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
If your organization received a grant in the previous year, you must submit a follow-up grant report by our deadline of June 1st. Organizations that do not submit this report in a timely manner risk not receiving a grant in the current year.
Each year, the Foundation is able to fund only a fraction of the requests that are reviewed. A denial of funding is not necessarily a reflection of the program or proposal, but is the result of a highly competitive process.
Please note that receiving a grant from the Genuardi Family Foundation does not guarantee future funding.
