Genuardi Family Foundation

People are the f irst concern of the Genuardi Family Foundation.

The Foundation honors the family’s legacy of giving back to the community through support of regional nonprofit organizations whose services address food access and security, homelessness prevention and housing, and job training and placement.

In Memoriam

The Genuardi Family Foundation’s Board and Staff join the Genuardi family in mourning the passing of one of our founding Board Members, Francis “Skip” Genuardi (August 2022). Skip’s passion for philanthropy and dedication to his Board service was evident as he worked tirelessly to advance the interests of serving our neighbors in need throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. He is greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Our History

The Genuardi Family Foundation has its roots in a classic American story of immigration: hard work and dedication to family.

Grantmaking

Established in 2001, the Genuardi Family Foundation has funded 2,827 grants totaling $34 million to organizations serving residents of Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Bucks Counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
